Hidden Agenda

July 11th, 2007

The recent attempt to force “comprehensive immigration reform” legislation through the Senate was rightfully defeated by a massive outcry from the American public, who recognized the potential dilution of our national civic and economic values — namely, democracy and capitalism. Our cultural respect for individual endeavor and its rewards in personal property provide the motivation that drives our national inventiveness and productivity, the envy of the world.

But most Americans, while recognizing the dangerous implications of the failed legislation, assumed that the Washington insiders were merely guilty of good but misguided intentions. However, there is a much more sinister force behind these efforts — a plan to replace our national sovereignty with a socialistic North American union. If we had diluted our United States voting base with twenty million poorly educated lawbreaking immigrants, the task of dismantling our heritage would have been easier for the “globalista” power brokers.

Political writer Jerome Corsi discusses the hidden agenda in his new book, The Late Great U.S.A.: The Coming Merger With Mexico and Canada. This week Corsi was a guest on the talk radio program Coast To Coast, and their recap of his appearance provides a good overview of the danger:

North American Union

Appearing during all four hours, political author Jerome Corsi spoke about his latest book, The Late Great U.S.A.: The Coming Merger With Mexico and Canada. The three countries would retain their individual identities under the so-called Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (spp.gov) but would be overseen by a single Board of Directors, that could subvert US laws, he explained.

The plan is touted as a way to improve trade between the three countries, but Corsi sees such a union as weakening the American economy. Manufacturing and farming in the U.S. will be abandoned and all goods will be sent in from China, Latin America, and South America where they are cheaper to produce, he proclaimed. Commodities will be trucked in via Mexico along a corridor of new highways to be built in Texas, financed by Cintra, an operator of toll roads based in Spain.

After the merger, the American dollar will be replaced by a currency shared with Canada and Mexico — the Amero. The Amero will be worth less than the current dollar, and the U.S. government will use it to pay off social security, Corsi suggested. A grassroots movement is underway to protest the North American merger, and 12 states have passed legislation to pull out of the SPP, he noted.

For all of us who are very busy with the workload of daily life — jobs, family responsibilities, and community service — there had been the assumption that the folk we pay to represent us in Washington would be looking out for our interests. We have recently realized that they will betray us, sacrifice us, unless we spend a lot of time being actively involved with them.

This new battle looms on the horizon, and unfortunately, we must remain as time-committed and involved as we were with the recent immigration legislation in the Senate. For more information, check these resources:

Security and Prosperity Partnership Of North America

Toward a North American Union

[The August Review is published by World Research Library, a non-profit research organization that offers a critical analysis on globalization and the global elite.]

The global elite, through the direct operations of President George Bush and his Administration, are creating a North American Union that will combine Canada, Mexico and the U.S. into a superstate called the North American Union (NAU). The NAU is roughly patterned after the European Union (EU). There is no political or economic mandate for creating the NAU, and unofficial polls of a cross-section of Americans indicate that they are overwhelmingly against this end-run around national sovereignty.

Opponents of U.S. sovereignty plan to sneak their agenda around Congress

The Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) — whose U.S. operation conducts its business in secrecy in the bowels of the U.S. Department of Commerce — is plunging ahead with a program that may end America as we know it.

We can argue all day over to whether this is another case of “unintended consequences.” (This column does not buy that.) The SPP appears to lead ultimately to a North American Union (NAU) or “community.” Under that scenario, the borders of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico would be (de facto, if not formally) erased.

It will not happen overnight. This column has documented that the powers behind the plan (multinational corporations, politicians, and academic one-worlders) envision “evolution by stealth” — i.e., do the job in steps patterned after the manner in which the European Union was established….

Stop SPP & NAU

The STOPSPP group is … composed of citizens who are very concerned about the US government’s plans to create a North American union and to use SPP as the vehicle to begin dismantling the USA.

SPP was started without involving Congress in any manner. Plans include erasing our borders, abolishing the US Dollar, and basically turning over the operation of our country including our justice system to an unholy cabal.

  • Who gains ? Mexico, and Bush’s business cronies.
  • Who loses ? First our middle class, then all US citizens.

  1. gringoman Says:

About half the country recognizes the fact of a War Against Islamic Terror (although others have their own favorite names for it.) Wonder what percentage recognizes a second war that co-exists with the first: The War Against U.S. Sovereignty?

One more question: Of this small minority—those who recognize both wars—what percentage sees that both wars are in fact inter-related?

Right, that’s a tough one—especially when delving into both the differences and what the inter-relatedness is. Not even George Bush may have it all clearly worked out.
