Sweaty Teddy on the current immigration debacle…

“Our plan is a compromise. It involved give-and-take in the best traditions of the United States Senate. For each of us who crafted it, there are elements that we strongly support and elements we believe could be improved. No one believes this is a perfect bill,” said Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (Mass.), the deal’s chief Democratic architect. “The world is watching to see how we respond to the current crisis. Let’s not disappoint them.”

Do we care? Are we caring about this now? Who exactly drives immigration policy in the United States? The world? Is the United States an actual country? Do we, the American people have any say in who comes to live in our shared home?

Do we care that the world will be “disappointed?” I think this shows who the elite haircuts in Washington are trying to please, did you hire these people to make the “World” happy over American citizens?

I know I didn’t!

Here’s a thought for the “World…”
